FlyAirTech provides drone services throughout the continental United States with expanding operations in Europe. We maintain strategic partnerships with certified operators nationwide, allowing us to deploy to most locations within 48 hours for standard projects. For international engagements, we coordinate with local authorities to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Yes, all FlyAirTech pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates and maintain current certifications through ongoing training and recurrent testing. Our pilots also complete additional specialized training for thermal imaging, photogrammetry, and industry-specific applications. We provide certification documentation upon request.
We maintain $5 million in liability insurance coverage through a specialized aviation insurance carrier. Additional coverage limits and named insured certificates are available upon request to meet client or site-specific requirements. Our aircraft are also covered under comprehensive hull insurance policies.
Standard turnaround time is 48-72 hours from flight completion to final deliverable. Rush delivery within 24 hours is available for time-sensitive projects at an additional fee. Large-scale mapping projects requiring extensive processing may require additional time, which we communicate during project planning.
Drone operations cannot be conducted during rain, snow, high winds (typically above 20 mph sustained), heavy fog, or thunderstorm activity. Low cloud ceilings and poor visibility may also restrict operations. We closely monitor weather forecasts and will reschedule flights if conditions are unsuitable, at no additional cost to the client.
Yes, we handle all FAA authorizations as part of our service. This includes LAANC authorizations for controlled airspace, Part 107 waivers for operations requiring special permissions, and coordination with airports or other stakeholders. Authorization requirements are identified during project planning and obtained prior to flight operations.
We deliver data in industry-standard formats compatible with common software platforms. Photos are provided in JPEG and RAW formats. Video is delivered in MP4/MOV at up to 4K resolution. Mapping products include GeoTIFF orthomosaics, OBJ/PLY 3D models, LAS/LAZ point clouds, and DXF/SHP files for GIS integration. Custom formats are available upon request.
Night operations and beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) flights require special FAA waivers. FlyAirTech holds night operation waivers and can conduct nocturnal flights when project requirements demand. BVLOS operations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may require additional planning and authorization time.
Using RTK/PPK GPS technology and proper ground control, our drone surveys achieve horizontal accuracy of 1-2 centimeters and vertical accuracy of 2-3 centimeters. Standard GPS surveys without ground control typically achieve accuracy within 1-2 meters. We discuss accuracy requirements during project scoping to recommend the appropriate methodology.
